Job Summary
This role provides broad administrative and clerical support to Partners, Principals, Managers, and staff across the Firm’s various business lines. The position is responsible for handling a broad range of administrative tasks that support daily operations, improve organization across client engagements, and help ensure deadlines are consistently met, especially during high-volume or peak periods.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assembles, processes, and delivers tax returns (paper and electronic) to clients, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Scans, organizes, and archives confidential client tax documents.
- Updates tax projects in tracking software, manages deadlines, and organizes client “organizers.”
- Prepares and formats financial statements, client correspondence, proposals, and presentations for client engagements; maintains and organizes client records in accordance with firm policies.
- Accurately enter time and expense information within the firm’s time and billing system.
- Maintains filing systems as assigned.
- Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries.
- Communicates and coordinates effectively across departments to meet required deadlines.
- Performs general administrative duties, including scanning, copying, and document preparation.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Cross-trains across administrative functions to support various business lines and provide coverage as needed.
- Maintains the highest level of professionalism and strict client/firm confidentiality.
- Demonstrates flexibility and the ability to manage changing priorities across multiple departments.
Qualifications Required:
- Minimum of three years of relevant administrative experience.
- Associate’s degree or high school diploma/GED with equivalent work experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, including formatting business documents, managing headers and footers, and inserting and editing tables.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook.
- Experience supporting administrative processes related to tax return preparation.
- Prior administrative experience in a public accounting environment preferred.
- Knowledge of general office procedures, including filing, telephone etiquette, scanning, and use of standard office equipment; strong command of business English, spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to self-review, especially in high-volume or peak periods.
Hours of Operation and Additional Information
- Full-time, hybrid, hourly position
- Standard hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Ability to work additional hours during peak tax deadline periods, as needed

Compensation: $28.85 - 33.65 / hourly
The listed compensation range is intended as a general guideline. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including experience, education, skills, and alignment with the needs of the role.
